San Antonio’s upcoming food hall, Make Ready Market, has announced its plans to welcome a new tenant — the city’s own Būjē Juice Co.
Formerly known as Lemonade Co., the business rebranded in 2019 after gaining support from investor Sascha Stone Guttfreund, founder of the festival production company ScoreMore.
Since debuting at the JMBLYA Festival in Dallas in 2019, Būjē has continued making the ScoreMore festival rounds — appearing at events such as Dreamville Festival, Mala Luna, Neon Desert, and Rolling Loud.
What Now San Antonio reached out to Founder and Co-Owner Elias Carofilis to inquire about the upcoming location, but he could not provide additional information before publication.
Neverthelss, based on the company’s existing model, locals can expect fresh-pressed juice made with fresh ingredients.
According to the Būjē website, current options include strawberry rosewater, lemonade, Whey Up, Superhuman — made with lime, turmeric, orange, carrot, ginger, and sea moss — and Zen, which contains melatonin, collagen, aloe vera, elderberry, and acai berry.
For readers who are unfamiliar with the upcoming food hall, Make Ready — a Hixon Properties-backed project — is taking over the former Cavender auto dealership space at 203 8th Street, “nestled between Broadway and the San Antonio River.”
Intending to “feature eats and treats from San Antonio’s epicurean notables and new voices at the table,” according to the Make Ready website, additional upcoming tenants include Pescado Bravo, Sofia’s Pizzeria, and Thai Bird.
An opening date has not yet been announced.
