According to Express News, wine bar Casa Guipzot is gearing up to debut a second location in San Antonio’s oldest neighborhood, La Villita.

“Through Mexican wine, we can educate and connect people with their roots and culture while showing others the beauty of the country,” owner Salena S. Guipzot shares in a recent media release.

Coming just down the street from the Arneson River Theatre, the eatery will land near establishments such as Durty Nelly’s Irish Pub, Guadalajara Grill, and Smoke Texas River Walk.

For readers who are unfamiliar with the concept, “owner and wine director Salena S. Guipzot hails from San Antonio and has built a career out of celebrating the wines of Mexico. Her first shop, which she opened with her husband, Eduardo Guipzot, launched at 118 S. Sabinas St., Building 3, Suite 101 in 2022,” the Journal shares.

Casa Guipzot is slated to open in late January.
