Chhunlip Kung Aka Super Donuts is embarking on opening a location in the Neighbors Market. According to a recently filed permit, the next donut shop for the brand is slated to open at 4010 SE Military DR.
Construction is expected to begin by mid-March and wrap up before mid-July, anticipating a sweet summer with Super Donuts pumping out its beloved sweets.
“This premier donut establishment in San Antonio specializes in artisanal creations that elevate traditional pastries to gourmet experiences,” the Super Donut website reads.
“With an emphasis on high-quality ingredients and innovative flavors, this shop offers a diverse selection of donuts, kolaches, and seasonal specialties that appeal to discerning palates.”
What Now San Antonio reached out to the owner listed on the permit, Akil Iqbal Momin, but did not hear back by the time of this publication.
The brand has shops on De Zavala Rd and Galm Rd. While there isn’t a whole lot of information about the brand online, the excitement around this upcoming opening is already mounting on social media, with signs for the opening already up and posted.

A Facebook page for an older Super Donut location details that the shop offers breakfast tacos, kolaches, sandwiches, donuts, coffee, soft drinks, milk, and cappuccinos.
The new Chhunlip Kung Aka Super Donuts is expected to open in the Neighbors Market at 4010 SE Military DR by this summer.
