Chicken Salad Chick, a “chain outlet specializing in many different types of chicken salads” that has opened two outposts in San Antonio already this year, is planning to continue its expansion.

Industry veterans James ObergJeff Rochelle, and George Shaw of South Texas Chick share that the recently opened Westover Hills location, which debuted in March, was only the second of eight outposts planned for the area over the next several years.

What Now San Antonio contacted Oberg, but he was unable to provide additional information before the time of publication. Addresses and opening dates for the upcoming locations have yet to be announced.

Nevertheless, patrons can expect the concept and menu to remain consistent.

For readers who are unfamiliar with Chicken Salad Chick, Oberg offered an introduction in a press release shared earlier this year: “The brand sets itself apart with its made-from-scratch menu, core values focused on enriching the community, and commitment to serving guests.”

On the menu — in addition to more than ten chicken salad options, categorized as traditional, spicy, savory, and fruity & nutty — are variations of pimento cheese, fruit and vegetable salads, soups, and sandwiches.

Check back in for additional updates, and, in the meantime, follow the eatery on Facebook and Instagram to stay up to date.
