American rapper, songwriter, record producer, actor, and Cookie Plug Franchisee LL Cool J, alongside franchisee Kevin Davis, recently announced their expansion plans for the year — and San Antonio is on the list of Texas cities receiving new outposts.
Davis tells What Now that he and his team are “currently looking at sites in San Antonio” and that the upcoming location will be part of a massive, multi-city 60-unit deal.
For readers who are unfamiliar, Cookie Plug is a “unique concept that blends hip-hop, graffiti, and great cookies,” according to its website.
“We’re bringing you a flavor experience that’s not just about cookies—it’s about celebrating the essence of Hip-Hop culture. Cookie Plug understands the power of our movement, and together, we’re blending outstanding treats with the energy and creativity that defines Hip-Hop,” shares LL Cool J in an official statement.
His business partner, Davis, has “over 30 years of experience in franchising,” per QSR’s reporting. Operating nearly two hundred locations of famous US fast casual brands such as Dunkin Donuts, Papa John’s Pizza, Subway, and Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen, he is sure to bring top-level experience to Cookie Plug’s ambitious national expansion.
