According to MySA, Curry Boys BBQ is expanding its San Antonio footprint — planning to open its second outpost at an undisclosed address in the Stone Oak vicinity.

“We just feel like there is a unique opportunity to expand and highlight the food scene in an area that we believe craves local experiences,” Co-Founder and Co-Owner Sean Wen tells the journal.

He continues, “We also have so many friends and family that live in that area, so it made sense for us to give them — and everyone else who lives up north — an easier opportunity to enjoy our food.”

For readers who are unfamiliar with Curry Boys, the eatery began as a pop-up on St. Mary’s before Wen — alongside co-owners Andrew Samia and Andrew Ho — settled in a brick-and-mortar spot at 536 E Courtland Place.

The eatery is known for its curry BBQ bowls — ranging from the Curry Queso Hot Dog, “a smoked pork link with a ‘Martins’ bun and smothered in Curry Queso, topped with onions, cilantro & shallots,” to the pulled pork and Penang curry filled Tony Porker.

What Now San Antonio reached out to Samia to inquire about the new location, but he could not provide additional information before publication.

An opening date has not been announced yet, so follow Curry Boys on Facebook for updates.
