Denver-based franchise Dae Gee Korean BBQ is preparing to debut in San Antonio, according to MySA.

An address has not been announced yet, but franchisees Tommy Nguyen and Anahi Resendez “are said to be looking around Alamo Ranch, Helotes, Leon Valley, and Shavano Park to potentially plant the new Korean barbecue spot,” the Journal shares.

“We always wanted to run our own restaurant and we’ve been regular Dae Gee customers for years. In fact, it’s where we had our very first date… We’re eager to bring a different flavor, variety, and overall dining experience to San Antonio,” they tell MySA.

For readers who are unfamiliar with the concept, Dae Gee Korean BBQ was founded in 2012 by Joseph Kim and has outposts in Colorado, Indiana, and Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.

An opening date has not been announced yet, so stay tuned for additional updates.
