According to a recently submitted permit application, Dave & Buster’s is gearing up to renovate its current Balcones Heights outpost — located at 440 Crossroads Boulevard, just up the street from Jim’s Restaurant, Spice Fine Indian Cuisine Biryani Place, and Taqueria El Rodeo de Jalisco.

What Now San Antonio reached out to the company to inquire about its plans for the spot, but they could not provide additional information before publication.

Nevertheless, the filing reveals that interior improvements began on February 2 and are scheduled to finish on June 12, 2026, costing an estimated $1,250,000.

For readers who are unfamiliar with Dave & Buster’s, the business offers a brief introduction on its website: “Each store has more state-of-the-art games than ever, more mouthwatering menu items, and the most innovative drinks anywhere. From wings to steaks, we’ve got whatever suits your appetite and our premium bar assures we’re stocked to satisfy! Plus, you can watch your game on one of our massive HDTVs with epic stadium sound.”

The first Dave & Buster’s location opened in December 1982. The chain now operates over 170 locations.

An opening date has not been announced yet, so stay tuned for updates.
