According to MySA, a Tower of the Americas dining concept, Chart House, is still temporarily closed for renovations.
A statement on the Towers of the Americas website offers a brief description of the plans, “We’re excited to announce that Chart House will undergo an exciting transformation beginning April 9. During this time, the Chart House dining room will be temporarily closed, but guests can still enjoy a limited Chart House menu at Bar 601.”
It hasn’t been made clear as to whether or not the restaurant intends to update its menu, however, current offerings include seafood salads, entrees — including steamed mussels, sea bass and lobster risotto, and miso sake glazed black cod, to name a few — and a selection of steaks.
For readers who are unfamiliar with Tower of the Americas, the venue is a 750-foot-tall tower located in downtown San Antonio that’s known for offering a bird’s eye view of Alamo City.
When construction will conclude hasn’t been announced yet. However, in the meantime, visitors can dine at the Tower of the America’s recently opened concept, Grove Restaurant & Bar, “a new outdoor experience surrounded by fountains, bistro lights, and greenery.”
Stay tuned for updates.
