Dirty Dough is embarking on another San Antonio opening, this time in Alamo Heights. According to a recently filed permit, the cookie brand is set to open in the Arcadia Grove Shopping Center at 5216 Broadway.

The permit details that construction is slated to start in mid-April and wrap up by July for a summer opening, barring that all goes well with permitting and construction.

Marcus Sailler will be leading the charge at the new Broadway Dirty Dough storefront as the franchisee. What Now San Antonio briefly spoke with Sailler via text message. Sailler confirmed the opening, but was unable to share more details by the time of this publication.

What Now San Antonio also reached out to entrepreneur Bennett Maxwell, who is running the brand, but we did not hear back by the time of this publication.

“From dorm room kitchen in Tempe, AZ to franchise locations spreading across the United States, Dirty Dough has been founded on this simple idea – it’s what’s on the inside that counts,” the Dirty Dough website reads.

“We’re bringing one-of-a-kind cookies to the masses, and helping entrepreneurs find passion and success. The other guys can focus on making cutesy, clean cookies that look better than they taste. Dirty Dough sells cookies for real life, which can get a little messy. But, it sure is sweet!”

Dirty Dough was founded in that dorm room in Arizona by Tyler Peery before Maxwell took over the brand. What began as a delivery-only “stuffed” cookie concept morphed into an international brand. There are now more than 65 Dirty Dough locations across the United States, with dozens more stores in development, plans to reach a hundred locations, and more than 450 signed franchise agreements in place.

“Dirty Dough cookies are engineered from the inside out, with every cookie featuring some combination of layers, mix-ins, or filling within the dough,” the website reads.

“The unique flavor profiles and trademark gooey goodness of our cookies set us apart from other cookie-cutter brands (see what we did there?).”

Full of jokes and sweet eats, the brand has skyrocketed for its one-of-a-kind taste.

Cookie flavors include everything from the classics like chocolate chip to the unique like Piece Out, which is described as the peanut butter lover’s dream: a soft peanut butter cookie filled with rich fudge, topped with chocolate glaze, peanut butter drizzle, and mini peanut butter pieces.

Dirty Dough also offers bars and waffle bites, and of course, you can get your hand on the half dozen, Dirty Four, just one, or the whole shabang: the Dirty Dozen.

Customers can wash it all down with one of the Dirty Drinks like the Caribbean CrushDreamsicle Delight, or Yuzu Pie.

Dirty Dough is set to open its next Alamo City location in the Arcadia Grove Shopping Center at 5216 Broadway by this summer.
