According to Culture Map San Antonio, Max & Louie’s — an East Coast-style diner based in San Antonio — is preparing to open its second outpost, this time in Cibolo.
Coming to Cibolo Crossing — “a brand new, 116-acre, Class A, mixed-use development along IH-35 in the city of Cibolo,” according to its website — it will land near establishments such as Bill Miller BBQ, Chili’s Grill & Bar, and Magnolia Pancake Haus.
What Now San Antonio reached out to the concept’s owner, Drew Glick, to inquire about his plans for the spot, but he could not provide additional information before publication.
To provide a brief introduction to the concept, Max & Louie’s New York Diner opened its first location in 2016 on West Bitters Road in San Antonio. The upcoming spot on Cibolo Valley Drive will mark its second outpost.
“At Max & Louie’s, we believe good food has the power to bring people together. Whether you’re savoring one of our stacked sandwiches, digging into a plate of homemade breakfast, or enjoying a sweet treat to finish your meal, we’re here to create moments that families cherish for years to come,” the business shares on its website.
In addition to sandwiches, the eatery’s lunch menu will offer burgers, calzones, and salads, as well as sides such as coleslaw, onion rings, and rice pilaf.
An opening date has not been announced yet. Stay tuned for updates.
