San Antonio-based food truck Eight Ball Coffee is planning to open its first brick-and-mortar spot, according to an Instagram post the business shared earlier this week.

Coming to 1432 South St. Mary StreetSuite 101, the coffee shop will land near establishments such as Alamo City’s Rocks & Crystals, HUB MRKT Bikes, and Las Tapatias de Jalisco.

Co-owner Joseph Ontiveros, who founded the business in 2022 alongside his brother Ben Ontiveros, tells What Now San Antonio that he plans to “keep it simple, consistent, and easy,” and that Eight Ball on South St. Mary will continue to offer the focused menu it currently boasts at its food truck outside of La Segunda Bartique & Gallery — including drip coffee and a standard espresso menu, plus syrups in flavors like coco cajeta and lavender.

Eight Ball Coffee on South St. Mary is slated to open in early December. Follow the coffee shop on Instagram for updates in the meantime.
