Local taqueria El Pastor Es Mi Señor is planning to reopen “very soon,” according to MySA.

“We had a little glitch in the matrix, so we’re trying to train more people right now. So we’re gonna be reopening next week, so just keep an eye on Instagram,” the concept’s owner, Alex Sarmiento, shares.

Additionally, Sarmiento is thinking beyond the opening, “I would like to expand, to open a second one. We’re working on it. Hopefully, next year or by the end of this year. We’ll see,” he tells MySA.

For readers who are unfamiliar with El Pastor Es Mi Señor, the concept was founded in 2020 and has since been featured on Netflix’s Taco Chronicles and written about in Texas Monthly.

Located at 8727 Wurzbach Road, Suite 102, the eatery is neighbor to establishments such as Golden Wok, Tandoor Palace Indian, and the Tex-Mex eatery Tommy’s.

Stay tuned for updates.
