According to MySA, Empty Stomach is gearing up to debut a new concept in Alamo City this fall.

Coming to 1101 Broadway, Merci Jones will become neighbor to NOLA and Pumpers, as well as Hot Joy, which plans to open at an address nearby by September.

“We aren’t trying to be cool, we’re not trying to be cute, and we’re not trying to reinvent the wheel. Just classic cocktails made with quality spirits & fresh juices,” Empty Stomach Group owner Chad Carey tells MySA.

“In the interim before the fall opening, the Merci Jones will slam daqs and other ice-cold cocktails at the old Hands Down bar space in Southtown at 1012 S Presa St., San Antonio, TX 78210,” the Journal reports.

For readers who are unfamiliar with Empty Stomach, the restaurant group is behind popular eateries such as Double Standard, Hot Joy, and Paper Tiger.
