According to Culture Map, Charlotte-based chain Famous Toastery is gearing up to debut a new outpost in San Antonio.

Franchisee Rachell Bonds tells What Now San Antonio, “We’re still looking for a location,” but the eatery is slated to open before the end of 2025.

For readers who are unfamiliar with the business, it offers a brief introduction on its website: “Famous Toastery story began in 2005 in Huntersville, N.C. in a small house-turned-restaurant where best friends Brian Burchill and Robert Maynard opened their first breakfast spot.”

The statement continues, “Famous Toastery has continued to grow its presence across the U.S., particularly in the Southeast and Mid-Atlantic regions, and growing nationally with its introduction into the Texas market.”

When asked what attracted her to Famous Toastery, Bonds shares, “They bring fresh homemade ingredients and create an atmosphere where people can come together… but the most important thing is that I like their concept, the way they treat their people.”

On the menu, locals can expect to find items such as stuffed French toast made with fresh ingredients and filled with cream cheese and fruit, avocado toast, and a Southern eggs benedict.

Stay tuned for updates.
