Arizon-based fast-casual Mexican restaurant chain Senor Taco is planning to open its first location in San Antonio.
According to a construction permit application filed last year, the business has already finished renovating a 3,071-square-foot space at 8610 Potranco Road — near eateries such as Elise Cuisine, Las Palapas, and Tacos El Rodeo De Jalisco.
Costing an estimated $300,000, the project was carried out by San Antonio-based firm Villa Park Architecture.
For readers who are unfamiliar, Senor Taco is known for “big, beautiful burritos and the tastiest tacos in Arizona.” Beginning more than 30 years ago in San Diego, the business has expanded to over 11 outposts throughout Arizona.
On the menu — in addition to an assortment of taco and burrito options — patrons can expect to find protein bowls, quesadillas, and fajita and enchilada plates.
What Now San Antonio reached out to Senor Taco’s co-owner, Juan Gonzales, but he could not provide further information before publication.
An opening date has not yet been announced. For additional updates, follow Senor Taco on Facebook and Instagram.
