According to a recently submitted permit application, Freddy’s Frozen Custard is expanding its Texas footprint — planning to debut a new outpost in Boerne early next year.

Coming to IH-10 and Christus Parkway, the eatery will join establishments such as KFC, Panda Express, and Taco Bell at a commercial development.

What Now San Antonio reached out to the franchisee, Joe DePinto Jr. of Five Point Growth Partners, to inquire about the upcoming location, but he could not provide additional information before publication.

Nevertheless, the filing states that construction of the “2800-square-foot standalone Freddy’s Frozen Custard and Steakburgers restaurant” is slated to begin on June 30 and finish on December 31. For an estimated $2,000,000, Kansas City-based firm GLMV Architecture will carry out the project.

An opening date has not been announced yet, so follow Freddy’s Frozen Custard on Facebook for updates.
