Golden Glaze Donut and Cafe is ready to set up shop in San Antonio with a new location slated to open at 6032 WT Montgomery Rd. According to a recently filed state permit, construction on the new Golden Glaze and Cafe is expected to start this December and wrap up by the beginning of March 2026.

The 1500 square-foot new sweets eatery is estimated to cost $250,000 to complete, as it is a completely new construction.

What Now San Antonio reached out to the owner listed on the permit, Heidi Chinra, but we did not hear back by the time of publication.

Golden Glaze Donut and Cafe shops have been popping up all over Texas. The donut shop offers a variety of doughy, sweet treats. Golden Glaze Donut and Cafe doesn’t hold punches with a long list of classics, like the twists and apple fritters, and an eclectic, wide variety to purchase, like the coconut and peanut donuts. There’s a little something to make every donut lover go nuts for these donuts at the Golden Glaze Donut and Cafe shops.

While there are not many details available about the new opening, one thing is likely certain: you can expect the same, if not a similar variety of delectables at the new Golden Glaze Donut and Cafe when it opens its doors early next year.

Keep an eye on the cafe’s social media pages to find out the latest about its openings.

You can expect Golden Glaze Donut and Cafe to open at 6032 WT Montgomery Rd. by March 2026.
