According to a recently submitted permit application, New Braunfels-based meat market and deli concept Granzin’s plans to debut a new location in the city.

Coming to 3516 FM 306, the eatery will land near Camp Hideaway Gruene, the used car dealership The Trading Post, and NB Parkway Storage.

What Now San Antonio reached out to the concept’s owner, Gary Granzin, to inquire about the upcoming location, but he could not provide additional information before publication.

Nevertheless, the filing discloses that construction of the 23,032-square-foot meat market and restaurant will begin on April 1 and be completed by December 31. For an estimated $850,000, the project will be carried out by San Antonio-based firm Charles William Pope & Associates.

For readers who are unfamiliar with Granzin’s, the business was founded by the Granzin family in October 1981 and has since expanded to three locations across New Braunfels, Seguin, and Pleasanton. Offerings range from stuffed quail and German-style sausage to deli sandwiches, private-label seasonings, and hand-selected produce.

An opening date has not been announced yet, so stay tuned for updates.
