According to the San Antonio Express-News, Helotes-based Japanese eatery Hoka Hoka Fuku has opened its second location, this time in Live Oak.

Found at 7525 N Loop 1604 E, Suite 136, the restaurant is neighbor to establishments such as Dollar Treet, Hat Creek Burger Company, and Little Caesars Pizza.

On the menu are “appetizers ranging from fried ball of octopus meat called takoyaki to pork steamed buns and french fries with crab meat,” the Journal shares.

Additionally, “the restaurant seats about 50 people, and the menu includes beer, wine, and sake.”

What Now San Antonio reached out to the concept’s owner, Andy Bunto, to inquire about the expansion, but he could not provide additional information before publication.

The restaurant is currently in its soft-opening phase with limited hours. Stay tuned for updates.
