According to public records, Hook Land & Sea Sports Bar at 875 E. Ashby Place in San Antonio — near eateries such as Crème Coffee & Social, Naco Mexican Grayson, and Velvet Taco — plans to undergo renovations.

The project is described as the “interior finish out of a sports bar” that will include improvements to the bar, “seating area,” and outdoor terrace. Local firm Gomez Vazquez International is tasked with carrying out the project for an estimated $300,000.

Construction was originally slated to be completed in April, however, the filing was recently resubmitted.

For readers who are unfamiliar with the fast-casual concept, Hook Land & Sea offers a “curated menu of fusion cuisine with nods to Mexican, Asian, & International flavors,” according to its website.

“Hook will offer options from the land & sea along with plenty of cocktail & spectacular wine offerings,” the statement continues.
