According to the San Antonio Current, three-time James Beard Award nominee Levi Goode of Houston’s Goode Co. is debuting a new concept, Otto’s Ice House, in San Antonio.

Coming to 111 Newell Avenue, the eatery will land just down the street from establishments such as Isidore, Mezquite, and Pullman Market.

“I love Texas and I love a good story, and Otto’s is an opportunity to pay homage to both,” said Goode in a recent press release. “Ice Houses and the Pearl are quintessentially Texan, and Otto Koehler’s story is too rich not to tell. This is a very exciting opportunity, and my team and I can’t wait to open our doors and welcome folks in.”

While the menu hasn’t been shared yet, the release reveals that “cold beer, drinks, and delicious food are on the menu at Otto’s, with cocktails like Micheladas, Honeysuckle Frozé, Damn Goode Margaritas, Otto’s Last Shot, and more. The ice house will also feature popular Texas fare such as Street Tacos, Bratwurst on a Bun, Frito Pie, Nachos, German Soft Pretzels, and more.”

The restaurant is slated to open in April. Follow Otto’s Ice House on Instagram for updates.
