Manasquan-based sandwich franchise Jersey Mike’s is prepping for its Spring Branch debut.
According to public records, the fast-casual concept is planning to renovate an existing 1,334-square-foot suite at a strip mall at 281 Singing Oaks, where it will land near establishments such as IHOP, Walmart Supercenter, and Whataburger.
What Now San Antonio reached out to operating partner Steven Tozzi to inquire about his plans for the spot, but he could not provide additional information before publication.
Nevertheless, a recent construction permit application describes the project as a tenant finish-out slated to begin on July 14 and be completed in mid-October. The job will cost an estimated $400,000 and be carried out by the Fort Worth-based design firm AEP America.
For readers who are unfamiliar with Jersey Mike’s, Kyle Potvin, Principal at Splash Communications, shares an introduction with What Now San Antonio: “Jersey Mike’s Subs, a fast-casual sub sandwich franchise with nearly 2,500 locations nationwide, believes that making a sub sandwich and making a difference can be one and the same. Jersey Mike’s offers a Sub Above, serving authentic fresh sliced/fresh grilled subs on freshly baked bread – the same recipe it started with in 1956.”
An opening date has not been announced yet. Stay tuned for updates.
