Liberty Bar Toasts to 40-year Milestone
Liberty Bar has drawn locals for its inventive dishes made from scratch, innovative cocktails, and colorful historical setting for 40 years. Blending Tex-Mex and Southern influences, the restaurant is known for its tangy Salsa de Cilantro, a tomatillo-lime sauce served with fish, chicken, and pasta.
Some standout items on the menu are handmade pasta, matzo ball soup, pot roast, and chili relleno en nogada. Other fan favorites include grilled potatoes with aioli, lamb burgers with crispy fries, goat cheese, and a grilled Muenster sandwich with chile morita.
Liberty Bar’s cocktail menu is inspired by the NATO phonetic alphabet, with drinks like the Romeo and the Tango highlighting its playful spirit. Happy hour draws a local crowd with house wines, inventive cocktails, and rotating beers, all $1 off from 3 to 6 p.m.

Normally priced at $13, the Margarita is available for $6.50 throughout the anniversary week. Happy hour runs daily from 3 to 6 p.m., featuring $1 off wine, cocktails, and beer. The restaurant is also bringing back a few beloved classics under its ‘Golden Oldies’ lineup.
