Little Caesars is set to debut in Leon Valley this fall. According to a recently filed permit, the booming pizza brand plans to open a location at 6802 Bandera Rd.
The permit details that construction is slated to start at the end of this month and wrap up at the end of September. If all goes well, Little Caesars could be dishing out “pizza, pizzas” out of the new Leon Valley location before Halloween.
At the helm of the franchise is Texas-based franchise group Harmony Brother LLC. The group already operates Little Caesars locations in the Greater San Antonio region. Sunny Punjani is leading the charge for the franchisee group and is listed on the permit. What Now San Antonio reached out to Punjani for more details about the upcoming opening, but did not hear back by the time of this publication.
What Now San Antonio also reached out to the brand’s Vice President of US Development and Construction, Basil Kazpis, but did not hear back by the time of this publication.
“The global chain that Little Caesars is today began with a blind date between Mike Ilitch and Marian Bayoff that was arranged by Mike’s father in 1954,” the Little Caesars website reads.
Mike and Marian would become a powerhouse couple with a booming brand by the turn of the century.
Originally named “Little Caesar’s Pizza Treat,” the couple invested their life savings in the first single location. Known for the “Pizza! Pizza!” slogan, Hot-N-Ready, and expansion via franchising, it is now the third-largest pizza chain globally.
There are more than 4,2000 Little Caesars locations across the 50 states that make up our country, with Texas having the highest number of locations at around 550.
There are just under 40 locations in the San Antonio region. The new Little Caesars coming to Leon Valley would be the first in that area.
Known for its affordable pizza offerings, the brand continues to come up with new tasty additions to the menu.
Little Caesars is anticipated to debut in Leon Valley at 6802 Bandera Rd by this fall.
