According to MySA, local burger joint Mr. Juicy is debuting a new outpost in San Antonio.

Coming to 2321 NW Military Highway, taking over a spot formerly home to Whataburger, the eatery will land near establishments such as Golden Chick, Heavy Metal Fitness, and Thirsty Horse Dance Hall & Saloon.

“I am hoping that number two is open no later than July 10 or so… Things have been kind of slow going on chairs, tables, equipment due to long turnaround times,” chef and owner Andrew Weissman tells the Journal.

For readers who are unfamiliar with Mr. Juicy, the business is known for its classic burgers and fries, rotating specialty shakes, and secret menu items such as chicken fried steak.

What Now San Antonio reached out to Weissman to inquire about the expansion, but he could not provide additional information before the time of publication.
