According to a recently submitted construction permit application, local business BOSS Bagels is expanding its San Antonio-area footprint — preparing to debut a new outpost in Cibolo.
Coming to 813 Cibolo Valley Drive, the eatery will land near establishments such as Chick-fil-A, Jersey Mike’s Subs, and Smoothie King.
What Now San Antonio reached out to the concept’s owners, Erik and Katie Yeargan, to inquire about their plans for the upcoming location; however, they could not provide additional information before publication.
Nevertheless, the filing reveals that the interior finish-out of the 2,000-square-foot space is scheduled to begin on September 1 and to finish on April 1, 2026. Local firm Jason Moran Collaborative Ventures, LLC, is tasked with carrying out the project for an estimated $500,000.
For readers who are unfamiliar with BOSS Bagels, the eatery offers a brief introduction on its website: “We blend the classic taste and texture of New York bagels with the sweet, smoky flavors of bagels from Montreal, where wood-burning ovens like ours have been an essential part of bagel baking for over 100 years.”
The business was founded in San Antonio by Brannon and Christie Soileau in 2019 and purchased by the Yeargans in 2022, “with plans to expand and build a legacy business for their five children.” The concept currently operates two locations in San Antonio, one at 6458 N. New Braunfels Avenue and the other at the San Antonio International Airport.
BOSS Bagels in Cibolo is slated to open next spring. Follow What Now San Antonio on Facebook for updates.
