According to Culture Map San Antonio, Makirrito, a new dining concept from a local restaurant group, is gearing up to open at an upcoming shopping center in San Antonio.

Joining Portico at Shaenfield Ranch, a shopping center in development at 7807 W Loop 1604 N, the eatery will land near establishments such as Lin’s International Buffet, Stout’s Pizza, and Wapo Taco TX.

What Now San Antonio spoke with the concept’s owner, Jairo Gonzalez, but he could not provide additional information before publication.

Nevertheless, the Journal reports that “the menu presumably reflects its namesake — a trendy fusion of poke bowls and sushi burritos.”

Makirrito at Shaenfield Ranch is slated to open in September. Stay tuned for updates.
