According to a recently submitted permit application, the Mediterranean fast-casual chain Hummus Republic is expanding to San Antonio.
Coming to 842 Northwest Loop 410, the eatery will land near establishments such as Dough Pizzeria Napoletana, Earth Burger, and Miguelito’s Mexican Grill & Cantina.
What Now San Antonio reached out to the outpost’s franchisee, Sandip Patel, to inquire about his plans for the spot, but he could not provide additional information before publication.
Nevertheless, the permit application reveals that renovations to the existing 1,540-square-foot space are slated to begin on April 16 and finish on July 15 — and will cost the business an estimated $275,398.
For readers who are unfamiliar with Hummus Republic, the business offers a brief introduction on its website: “The variety of tastes and flavors and the range of customizable options means that everyone – young to old, vegan to flexitarian, adventurous to conservative – can find something they want to eat.”
“We want everyone to know and love Mediterranean food as much as we do. With its endless variety, unique flavors, and the perfect blend of proteins, carbs, and powerhouse vegetables, Hummus Republic caters to every taste and eating habit,” the statement continues.
An opening date has not been announced yet. Stay tuned for updates.
