Midland-based eatery Pi Social is expanding to Fredericksburg, according to a recently submitted permit application.

Coming to Suite 700 at 206 N. Milam, the home of the shopping center Grand Central at Milam, the eatery will land near establishments such as Caliche Coffee Bar & Roasters, Hondo’s on Main, and Pontotoc Vineyard & Weingarten.

What Now San Antonio spoke briefly with the concept’s co-owner, Patrick Carrasco, inquiring about the upcoming location, but he could not provide additional information before publication.

Nevertheless, the filing offers further insight.

Renovations to the 1,700-square-foot space are scheduled to begin on October 16 and finish on January 31, 2024. For an estimated $250,000, local firm Mustard Design Architects will carry out the project.

For readers who are unfamiliar with the business, the Pi Social website offers an introduction, “We specialize in new American cuisine, combining local flavors with tried-and-true recipes everyone loves.”

An opening date has not been announced yet, so stay tuned for updates.
