According to construction documents, the Pittsburgh-based ice cream and chocolate shop chain MilkShake Factory is expanding to San Antonio.
Coming to 21026 U.S. Hwy 281 N, Suite 59, the eatery will land near establishments such as Jack in the Box, Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen, and Summer Moon Coffee.
For readers who are unfamiliar with the concept, MilkShake Factory introduces itself on Facebook as a “premium dessert destination serving up handspun milkshakes with housemade ice cream, as well as heritage chocolates crafted by generational chocolatiers.”
Beginning as a chocolate factory in 1914, the business currently operates 11 locations in the greater Pittsburgh area.
An opening date has not been announced yet, so stay tuned for updates.
