Ming’s is gearing up to open a “cafe-style sister concept,” Ming’s Cafe, according to a recently shared press release.

“Ming’s Cafe is an extension of what our customers love about Ming’s: fresh, natural Asian comfort food with no compromise on flavor or quality,” shares Ming Qian, the concept’s owner. He continues, “We’ve taken this commitment and applied it to a whole new menu that we’re truly excited to share.”

Coming to 914 E. Elmira Street, the concept will land near establishments such as Santa Diabla Cocina Mexicana and The Growler Exchange Midtown.

“Ming’s Cafe will serve a number of new items not currently available on the [original] restaurant’s menu, including various types of banh mi and Japanese sandos, including a classic egg sando and a strawberry and cream sando,” MySA shares.

The article continues, “The cafe will also have gochujang caramel cookies and brown butter miso chocolate cookies, as well as shaved ice, boba drinks, tea and coffee.”

While the location soft-opened earlier this month, an official opening date has not been announced yet.
