Local dining concept Mr. Teriyaki is debuting a third eatery in San Antonio, following the success of its flagship location at 6824 San Pedro Avenue and outpost at 8603 Highway 151, Suite 109.

Coming to 12922 Potranco Road, Suite 134, the restaurant will be neighbored by establishments such as Black Rock Coffee Bar, Killer Burger, and Mexican Cowboy Street Kitchen.

Co-owner Yi Chen — who operates the business alongside his brother — tells What Now San Antonio that, similar to the recently opened spot on Highway 151, the new location will have an improved appetizer menu and a greater selection of sushi, as well as offer beer.

For readers who are unfamiliar with Mr. Teriyaki, the family-owned restaurant offers a hibachi-style experience with a menu that ranges from mein noodles to fried rice and various teriyaki dishes. While Chen is not the chef, he says he makes all of the sauces himself.

According to a recently submitted permit application, renovations to the existing 2,996-square-foot space are slated to begin on July 14 and be completed by the end of November. For an estimated $318,952, the upgrade will be managed by local firm Integrated Studio LLC.

An opening date for Mr. Teriyaki on Potranco Road has not been announced yet. Stay tuned for updates.
