According to a recently submitted permit application, the national franchise Candy Cloud plans to debut an outpost in San Antonio.
Coming to 11619 Bandera Road, the shop will land near establishments such as IHOP, Panda Express, and The Frosty Frog.
What Now San Antonio reached out to Andrew and Che Zimmerman, the franchisees behind the upcoming spot, but they could not provide additional information before publication.
Nevertheless, public records indicate that renovations to the existing 1,243-square-foot space are scheduled to begin on April 1 and finish on June 6. For an estimated $200,000, the project will be carried out by Nashville-based firm MZA Architecture & Interiors.
For readers who are unfamiliar with Candy Cloud, the business offers a brief introduction on its website: “After countless hours of renovation fueled by hope and elbow grease, [the founders] opened their first storefront in March 2022.”
“By summer 2022, they began developing a franchising model with a deeper purpose – to help other families write their own success stories through Candy Cloud. That November, Candy Cloud Franchising officially launched, opening the door for others to join their mission of creating sweet memories across the country.”
The chain presently has locations in Illinois, Ohio, Wisconsin, and Tennessee.
An opening date has not been announced yet, so stay tuned for updates.
