Canyon Lake residents have something exciting to look forward to. According to a report by MYSA, a new eatery offering a “family-friendly environment” featuring “live music and great service” is landing in town this fall.
Breakwater Grill & Cantina will take over the former Baja Icehouse & Grill space at 280 Marina in Cayon Park, just five minutes down the road from Cafe Guadalajara and Lucky’s Sports Bar and Grill.
What Now San Antonio reached out to co-owner and restaurateur Austin Hanna — who is also the owner of Double Schott’s Sports Bar & Grill in New Braunfels — to inquire about the upcoming concept, but he was unable to provide additional information before publication.
Nevertheless, the recent report provides further insight.
Hanna tells MYSA, “We don’t only want to cater to the tourism factor of the location. We’re going to build a concept that all the locals are going to be excited about and frequent in and out of the tourist season.”
On the Breakwater Grill & Cantina menu, patrons can expect to find American and Tex-Mex menu items.
