Local, family-owed franchising group SAI 10 plans to open a new Dunkin’ Donuts in San Antonio this August. The store, which will be the company’s 10th location, will be located at 5523 E. Evans Road.
“It’s a big milestone for us,” says Prashant Samtani, franchisee. “It’s feels great that we’ve been able to open 10 different stores in the past 10 years of business.”
The new location will also contain a Baskin-Robins, which is also franchised by the company. Complete with a patio and indoor dining area, the new location will cover a 1,913 square-foot area.
Samtani says there are plans in place to accelerate the business’s growth throughout the North Central area in San Antonio, and he says they are looking into expanding the number of smaller footprint stores like drive-thrus in the area.
“The new location has very little existing retail in the area,” Samanti says. “And with all the new development coming in, it’s exciting that we will be able to capture a lot of the market.”
