According to a recently submitted permit application, a new eatery listed as Boba Barn is gearing up to debut in Seguin.

Coming to E. College Street, the shop will land near establishments such as Saigon Bistro, True Texas BBQ, and 1838 Grill.

What Now San Antonio reached out to the concept’s owner, Al Burns — who also owns Alligator Dental — to inquire about his plans for the spot, but he could not provide additional information before publication.

Nevertheless, the filing reveals that construction of “480-square-foot of building space with drive-thru and parking space” is scheduled to begin on January 1, 2025, and finish on June 1. For an estimated $400,000, the work will be carried out by New Braunfels-based firm Laijas Project Resource Group.

An opening date has not been announced yet, so stay tuned for updates.
