According to MySA, a new restaurant, Grandma’s Greek Taste, is gearing up to open in San Antonio’s Alamo Heights area.

Coming to 5130 Broadway, taking over a space formerly home to Pinch Boil House, the eatery will land near establishments such as the Arcadia Grove Center shopping mall, Cappyccino’s, and Nowhere Bookshop.

“After serving thousands of happy customers in our two restaurants in Germany, we’re proud to open our newest location right here in San Antonio,” the concept’s owner, Saimir Pllana, tells the Journal.

He continues, “On our menu, you’ll find juicy souvlaki, flavorful biftekia (Greek burgers), and mouthwatering grilled meats – chicken, beef, and lamb – all prepared fresh, and yes, everything is Halal.”

What Now San Antonio reached out to Pllana to inquire about his plans for the restaurant, but he could not provide additional information before publication.

An opening date has not been announced yet. Stay tuned for updates.
