Taziki’s Mediterranean Café will open its new Encino Park location on Thursday, Oct. 16, at 22103 Bulverde Road, Suite 104, bringing fresh, scratch-made Mediterranean dishes to Northeast San Antonio. The new café marks Taziki’s eighth location in Texas.

Taziki’s Expands Culinary Footprint in San Antonio

Taziki’s has expanded its culinary network with over 100 locations across 18 states, marking its third opening in Central Texas this year. The brand will celebrate its launch with a ribbon-cutting ceremony. Representatives from the Metro SA Chamber and Taziki’s Corporate Headquarters are expected to attend the ribbon-cutting ceremony.

The new restaurant will be at the intersection of Bulverde and Evans Road. It’s close to Johnson High School and Sprouts Farmers Market, located in the Encino Park shopping center at 22103 Bulverde Road, Suite 104.

The celebration begins at 2 p.m., inviting the community to join the ribbon-cutting and enjoy fresh Mediterranean fare. Guests can customize Kýpelos bowls with bases such as basmati rice, pasta with parmesan, or quinoa, all made with fresh Mediterranean ingredients.

“We’re grateful for the excitement and support the Greater San Antonio community has shown since we opened our first area location in New Braunfels,” said Managing Member Lexie Leinneweber. “With three stores now open, we’re thrilled to continue celebrating with our neighbors. Our fresh, affordable, scratch-made dishes paired with a passion for connecting and serving make Taziki’s a natural fit for San Antonio, and we look forward to many great years ahead.”

The café will be open Monday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.

About Taziki’s Mediterranean Café

Taziki’s has marked its 25th anniversary in 2023 after being in operation since 1998. Founders Keith and Amy Richards were inspired to launch Taziki’s after a transformative trip to Greece in 1997, bringing authentic Mediterranean flavors to the U.S.

The restaurant is headquartered in Birmingham, Alabama, expanding its reach with its vibrant and family-friendly restaurant niche across the country. It has also been ranked by U.S. News and World Report as No. 1 for eight consecutive years.

They have also partnered with Giving Kitchen, a food service community providing emergency assistance to food service workers.

This October, the new San Antonio café will serve Taziki’s signature fresh ingredients, offering the community wholesome Mediterranean favorites made to order.
