According to a recently submitted permit application, Nothing Bundt Cakes is expanding in San Antonio — planning to debut a new outpost at 10003 N.W. Military Highway, where it will land near establishments such as El Mirasol, H-E-B, and Pam’s Patio Kitchen & Wine Bar.

What Now San Antonio reached out to the franchisee behind the outpost, Andrew Simms, but he could not provide additional information before the time of publication.

Nevertheless, the filing offers further insight, revealing that the interior finish-out of the 1,845-square-foot space is scheduled to begin on July 31 and finish on October 31. For an estimated $300,000, the work will be carried out by Arlington-based firm Clark Design Co.

For readers who are unfamiliar with the franchise, Nothing Bundt Cakes was founded in 1997 and describes itself as “offering a modern spin on a classic treat.” Since then, the business has opened over 500 bakery locations in more than 40 states and Canada.

An opening date has not been announced yet, so stay tuned for updates.
