Cibolo residents can look forward to the arrival of a famous Austin-based burger chain in 2024. According to a construction permit application submitted earlier this year, P. Terry’s plans to build a new outpost at 961 Cibolo Valley Drive, near the Shops at Cibolo Bend, Walmart, and Zaxby’s Chicken Fingers & Buffalo Wings.

What Now San Antonio was unable to reach a representative before the time of publication, but the permit application provides some insight into what’s to come.

It details the intended construction of a 3,383-square-foot dine-in and drive-thru burger stand, slated to begin in November 2023 and finish in July 2024. Additionally, the outpost will offer a 248-square-foot patio, a building canopy, and a parking lot.

Behind the project is the Irving-based architecture and engineering firm ID Studio 4, and it’s estimated to cost about $1,500,000 to complete.

For readers who are unfamiliar with the concept, the burger business’s website offers an introduction, sharing “P. Terry’s offers the freshest quality ingredients you can find served out of a drive-thru window. We’re where fresh, all-natural, beef and chicken became staple items.”

The eatery’s menu includes burgers, veggie burgers, fries “made from all-natural potatoes,” cookies, banana bread, “fresh-squeezed” orange juice and lemonade, and milkshakes.

The burger company currently boasts more than 20 locations across Texas.

An opening date has not been announced yet, so stay tuned to P. Terry’s Facebook and Instagram for additional updates.
