According to What Now Houston, Parlor Doughnuts franchisee Baher Maximos — who already operates two outposts in the Houston area — is looking to open a new shop in San Antonio.

“Beyond League City and Pearland, the franchisees are working to expand further into San Antonio, with one location from the duo already in operation there, as well as eyeing Austin,” the report states.

For readers who are unfamiliar with the franchise, “Parlor Doughnuts was founded by Darrick Hayden, in partnership with Josh Tudela, in February of 2019,” according to its website.

The statement continues, “Parlor offers their Famous Layered Doughnut, which sets them apart from the traditional cake or yeast style… The brand has expanded to offer breakfast items such as acai bowls, avocado toast, breakfast sandwiches, and tacos.  And of course, specialty coffee.”

The address and opening date have not been announced yet, so stay tuned for updates.
