According to a recently submitted permit application, Southwest pizzeria chain Peter Piper Pizza plans to expand its San Antonio area footprint.
Coming to Potranco Road and Highway 211, the upcoming location will mark the business’s ninth outpost in the city.
The filing states that construction of the 12,050-square-foot shop is scheduled to begin on September 2, 2024, and finish on May 30, 2025. For an estimated $2,800,000, local firm Charles William Pope & Associates will carry out the project.
For readers who are unfamiliar with Peter Piper Pizza, the eatery offers a brief introduction on its website: “We harken back to our roots from 1973 continuing to honor delicious made-from-scratch pizza, our energetic game rooms, and Tony’s signature ‘come on over’ catchphrase.”
Its menu ranges from pizza and wings to starters such as breadsticks, garlic cheese bread, and fried zucchini — as well as salads and desserts.
What Now San Antonio reached out to Peter Piper Pizza representatives to inquire about the new shop, but they could not provide additional information before publication.
An opening date has not been announced yet, so stay tuned for updates.
