California-based pizza chain Pizza Guys is planning a major Texas expansion — eyeing the San Antonio market in particular.

According to Culture Map, the brand intends to open 23 locations throughout central Texas, however, it has not yet announced addresses.

What Now San Antonio reached out to Shahpour Nejad, the Co-Founder & CEO of Pizza Guys, but he could not provide additional information before the time of publication.

For readers who are unfamiliar with the franchise, Pizza Guys was founded back in 1986 and today has over 70 outposts throughout California, Nevada, and Oregon. The eatery is known for offering an expansive selection of pizza, as well as for providing patrons with the option to create their own pies.

“Customizable restaurant options have become exponentially more popular since customers prefer the autonomy of creating what they’re craving over ordering the same thing,” CEO and co-founder Shahpour Nejad shares in a press release.

The article will be updated when more information is gathered. In the meantime, follow Pizza Guys on Facebook and Instagram.
