According to a recently submitted permit application, Qargo Coffee is expanding to Texas — planning to debut three new outposts, including one in San Antonio, in 2025.

For readers who are unfamiliar with Qargo Coffee, the business offers a brief introduction on its website: “Our idea is to inspire you every day with our Premium Italian Lavazza Coffee and fresh-baked pastries while providing an unforgettable experience in our beautiful spaces for meetings, work, study, relaxation, and fun.”

The statement continues, “Every drink served at Qargo is made with Lavazza Coffee, a leading premium Italian brand with over 125 years of expertise in growing, producing, and roasting high-quality coffee.”

Founded in Florida in 2020, the franchise currently operates 10 locations across Florida, Colorado, and California.

What Now San Antonio reached out to the outpost’s franchisee, Mitesh Patel, to inquire about his plans for the upcoming spot, but he could not provide additional information before publication.

Nevertheless, the filing discloses that renovations to the existing 1,400-square-foot space are scheduled to begin on September 30 and finish on May 31, 2025, and will cost an estimated $200,000 to complete.

Coming to 12015 Culebra Road, Suite 101, the eatery will land near establishments such as Jeremiah’s Italian Ice, Summer Moon Coffee, and Whataburger.

An opening date has not been announced yet, so stay tuned for updates.
