The restaurateur behind San Antonio’s Chef’s Table Turkish Mediterranean Grill — a Turkish restaurant known for grilled meat platters, kebabs, and decadent salads — is planning to debut a new concept in the city, according to a recent Facebook post.

Owner Ibrahim Karabiyik tells What Now San Antonio that the upcoming eatery will be called Turkish Delight Coffee House and will serve Turkish coffee and pastries such as baklava and Turkish Delight — a type of jelly candy made traditionally made with rosewater, bergamot, or cinnamon, and filled with coconut, dried fruit, or nuts.

Coming to 1604 and Bandera, the eatery will soon neighbor establishments such as Jim’s, Luby’s, and the Santikos Entertainment Silverado.

Furthermore, Karabiyik shares that he is also renovating the next-door space, where he is preparing to open a second Chef’s Table Turkish Mediterranean Grill location.

Both Turkish Delight Coffee House and Chef’s Table Turkish Mediterranean Grill are slated to open this November. For additional updates, follow Chef’s Table on Facebook and Instagram.
