According to MySA, the restaurateurs behind Singhs Vietnamese — a laid-back eatery known for homestyle Vietnamese cooking at 2803 N St. Mary’s Street — are debuting a new concept on the Far Northwest Side.

Coming to 7331 N Loop 1604 W, Singhs Cantina will land near establishments such as Bill Miller BBQ, Hills & Dales Ice House, and Taco Bell.

According to a recent photo posted to the restaurant’s Instagram account, “it will open soon,” but a date has not been announced yet.

If the concept remains consistent, patrons can expect the menu to offer a selection of banh mi sandwiches, bún, also known as noodle bowls, and a variety of goi — traditional Vietnamese salads made with shaved red and green cabbage, carrots, mixed herbs, pickled onions, and fish sauce, topped aioli, toasted peanuts, and lime.

What Now San Antonio reached out to Singhs Vietnamese’s co-owner, Eric Trevino, but he was unable to provide additional information before the time of publication.

In the meantime, follow the eatery on Facebook for updates.
