Round Table Pizza, a national pizza chain known for “time-honored recipes, hand-rolled dough, homemade tomato sauce, and toppings piled to the edge,” is expanding in San Antonio.
According to a recent permit application, the franchise is preparing to debut a new outpost at 23522 Wilderness Oak, Suite 1010, where it will soon be neighbored by establishments such as Andy’s Frozen Custard, Dunkin’ Donuts, and Whataburger.
What Now San Antonio reached out to Bradley Peak, Vice President of Operations at Brame Brands, but he could not provide additional information before the time of publication.
Nevertheless, the filing states that renovations to the existing 1,207-square-foot space are slated to begin on October 1 and be completed by January 1, 2026. Local firm Galson Inc. will oversee the project for an estimated $90,525.
For readers who are unfamiliar with the history of the business, Round Table Pizza was founded in 1959 by Bill Larson in Menlo Park, California. In 2017, it was acquired by Global Franchise Group — the brand management company and franchisor of Great American Cookies, Hot Dog on a Stick, Pretzelmaker, and Marble Slab Creamery/MaggieMoo’s Ice Cream & Treatery. Today, it operates over 400 locations across Alaska, Arizona, California, Hawaii, Nevada, Oregon, Texas, and Washington, and is headquartered in Atlanta.
Menu items include personal, small, medium, large, and extra-large pizzas, appetizers such as buffalo wings and garlic parmesan bread twists, and a garden salad.
An opening date has not been announced yet. Follow What Now San Antonio on Facebook for updates.
