Local pizzeria Sapore’s Pizza is eyeing a new address in San Antonio’s Castle Hills neighborhood.

According to a recently signed lease, the pizzeria plans to debut its second outpost in the city at 2211 NW Military Highway — near establishments such as China Inn, Gretalia, and Sushishima Japanese Restaurant.

For readers unfamiliar with Sapore’s, the concept was founded in 2004 and is known for “New York-style pies, sandwiches & salads, plus other Italian bites, doled out in comfy quarters.”

What Now San Antonio contacted Giuseppe Buiano — the eatery’s owner, who is originally from Naples, Italy — to inquire about the expansion, but he could not offer additional information before publication.

An opening date has not been announced yet, so follow Sapore’s on Facebook for updates.
