Selma’s Thai Spice and Sushi Is Undergoing Renovations

For an estimated $357,842, improvements to the 4,514-square-foot space will be carried out by local firm Integrated Studio LLC.

According to a recently submitted permit application, Selma’s Thai Spice & Sushi — located at 8327 Agora Parkway near eateries such as Chuy’s, Pluckers Wing Bar, and Pasha Mediterranean Grill — is undergoing renovations. 

The filing shares that construction began in December 2023 and is scheduled to be completed in June 2024. For an estimated $357,842, improvements to the 4,514-square-foot space will be carried out by local firm Integrated Studio LLC.

What Now San Antonio contacted the concept’s owner, Darren Yang, to inquire about the project, but he could not provide additional information before publication. 

Nevertheless, the Thai Spice & Sushi website provides some insight into Yang’s motivations for opening the restaurant.

“Like so many hard-working immigrants, Darren came to America with a dream to own a restaurant focused on longevity and service. He wanted to serve high-quality Thai and sushi dishes that honored cultural recipes and made people happy,” the introduction shares.

An opening date has not been announced yet, so stay tuned for updates.
